Our Story
Organizational history
Apex Mentorship Empowerment Network (AMEN) is a dynamic Christian non – profit, non – partisan humanitarian organization.
Founded in October 2024 by a few members of The Seventh – Day Adventist Church in Jericho –Nairobi.
As part of its commitment to carrying forward its mission in strengthening positive social transformation, AMEN was registered as a company limited by guarantee in 2025 in Kenya, giving the organization a flexible legal framework to fully carry out its mandate as a non – profit.
AMEN addresses barriers to education, livelihoods’ resilience and social inclusion affecting vulnerable 14 – 23-year-old single teenage mothers, pregnant adolescents and rehabilitated former street boys, including youth with disabilities in our target group who face compounded exclusion.
Although we have a national and international focus, AMEN intends to anchor its roots in the residential areas of Jericho, Makadara and Maringo, while we partner with like-minded organizations and extend our roots to other areas of Nairobi, other counties in Kenya and beyond Kenya’s borders.
Through innovative initiatives and impactful programs, AMEN is committed to driving positive social transformation and shaping a brighter future for our beneficiaries.
We anchor our mission on the strong principle outlined in Psalm 147:3.
AMEN is governed by a board of directors which brings together a vast pool of professionals and their accomplishments; and led by a strong invaluable leadership team with a heart for its mission.
